5 Cool Websites To Try OpenAI's Dall-E2
Here are five awesome websites that are using the OpenAI's Dall-E2 API.
OpenAI, an AI startup from San Francisco, California, opened beta access to the DALL-E2 API to the public. Things are about to go crazy from here. Developers can now integrate the image generator tool into their own web applications.
In this article, let me share with you five awesome websites that are already using the Dall-E2 API.
1. Playground AI
Playground AI is one of my personal favorites among a number of AI art generators. I even wrote a review about it, which you can read here.
The pricing is cheaper when compared to the official Dall-E2 web app from OpenAI.
OpenAI’s Dall-E2 — 460 images for $15 (watermark)
Playground AI — 800 images for $10 (no watermark)
The service also gives you the option to generate with Stable Diffusion for a cheaper price.
2. Microsoft Designer
Designer is currently accessible via private invitation only. It’s Microsoft’s answer to the highly valued startup Canva.
The web app will allow you to add unique images to the canvas using Dall-E2.
This feature is already available in Canva powered by Stable Diffusion instead of Dall-E2.
Will it be free?
For now, people can join a waitlist to access the beta version of the Designer. Once the app becomes generally available, Microsoft will maintain a free tier along with a premium version for those with Microsoft 365 Personal and Microsoft 365 Family subscriptions.
3. Night Cafe
Night Cafe has been around since 2019. It’s a well-known name in the realm of AI art generators. So, I was excited to hear that Night Cafe is getting support for Dall-E2.
Here’s an example-generated image with the default Night Cafe art style.

What’s great about Night Cafe is its rich set of artistic styles. You can even turn on “Advanced Mode” for a more precise generation.
On sign-up, you will receive 10 free credits, which are equivalent to 40 images.
4. Cala
Cala is an all-in-one platform for producing exceptional fashion products. It simplifies the entire process, from coming up with design ideas to selling products.
Here’s how it works: First, you choose the product you want to design. Then describe the materials and features of the item. Here’s an example:
After clicking on the “Generate designs” button, the tool will spit out six designs like this.
Awesome, right? This could revolutionize online fashion commerce.
5. Mixtiles
Mixtiles is a startup that allows customers to create and buy custom photo walls. The web app uses the DALL-E2 API to create and frame unique artworks in seconds.
Each order starts at $43 for the first 3 tiles, then $12 for each additional tile in that set. They’re about 20 by 20 cm and 2 cm thick (8 by 8 inches and just under an inch thick).
Okay, that’s about it. I hope you found this article helpful and fun. I will keep an eye on emerging Dall-E2-powered web apps that will surely pop up in the coming weeks.
